Power is the force
to calm the tides, face the storm,
lead the way across.
It is held by heart
through the love that shines through it -
in the darkness, bright.
What corrupts
is the heart.

Authority once held absolutely, corrupts absolutely.
The only social mechanism that divides is power: For power is what authority is granted by God to divide the Day from the Night - Light from Darkness.
Not between Man and Man nor between the nations of Men does power reign supreme but against those that seek to destroy them, those who seek to rule above the earth and forget their place before the God Who is - the one LORD of all the Nations of the children of Mankind.
