Kanlungan

Nakalilito man
at madilim ang mundo,
mga kapatid ko sa Pangako,
huwag tayong mabahala
at huwag mawalan ng loob -
huwag matakot sa gabi!

Pananalig sa Diyos,
kapayapaan sa ating bansa;
kagandahang loob sa bawa't isa
bunga nang pagkakapatirang
namumuhay sa ating diwa,
at pagmamahal natin sa ating
nag-iisang sambayanang Pilipinas -
ito ang lagi nating maaasahan;
ang ating kanlungan sa gabi
at daan tungo sa umaga.

Plateau

Featureless expanse -
no wind, no change, only me...
upon this plateau.

Wherefore should I go?
I came from there, I should know...
upon this plateau.

Wherefore should I go?
I am plainly lost, I know...
left, right, up, below.

The best thing when lost
as the Gospel says, "stay put".
Jesus will find me.

So I should...
I'll stay still.

Youth

Jesus loves children
for in their souls, they believe
with faith absolute...

They hope boundlessly
and know in their hearts the One
as their minds reach out -

- aiming far
with near hearts.

Love the LORD and persevere in the remembrance of thy youth, O heart, for in it is contained the seeds of great and wonderful things.

Youth is in thy soul.

Therefore, be child-like not child-ish.

Scrupulosity

When there is darkness

leave plenty of room for God

to fill you with light.

Where there is shadow

leave plenty of room for faith -

Don't beat yourself up.

Trust to God,

He is able!

Scrupulosity sees darkness when there is only shadow and shadow where there is none.

It is form of vice; a deficiency in faith. It leaves little room for a healthy sense of trust in God to flourish. It arouses needless fears and anxieties and is rooted in a secret sense of false pride.

You don't imagine sin. You don't imagine love. Because both exists and is therefore knowable.

So know, else trust in God. He is worthy of all your love and trust. Do your best to be good is all you can do, you can never go past the you being you.

So leave some room for the sunshine, dear starshine.

Let it be, let it shine!

Release

This life is warfare,
the ancient bondage of sin:
what then is freedom?

Our release is Truth
that break the chains of slav'ry;
giving to be free.

To let God
is release.

The Love-in-Between

Husbands, love your wives,
wives love your husbands, and trust
in thy Love between.

Do not trust to Man,
what in Love you now profess,
be true to your love.

Union is
Communion.

You can not see God.

You can not see the Love-in-Between.

Therefore, during difficult times in your relationship when you find it hard to trust in Man, you must never give up on each other...

You must each learn to trust in your Love: The Love-in-Between.

A married couple is one whole. There does not exist anymore a single man or a single woman but a single heart of Love. So must you see it as such - not by its parts but by its totality.

Single persons most especially - must respect the lawful communion of the married state in this way.

For the eye of the predator instinctively seeks to separate the parts from the whole.

But the eye of a friend sees the whole and seeks to preserve it for the sake of its parts.

Falling Forward

Trust is a falling,
into time, towards our hope,

True hope stands firm, till -
