Why 1,575 haikus? Because my darlingest Annelies Marie Frank lived 15.75 years in this world.

Racial Tension

RACIAL TENSIONS are natural.

These is a natural tension
- between nations -
a gap between our truths
- ordained by the LORD -
a spiritual divide that may only be bridged
by our awakening to an understanding of ourselves.

(Salutation #105 - Trees in the Garden of God)

There is a tension,
requiring our vigilance
and wrought in justice.

Like a sign it warns
of that inertia within -
freedom needing work!

Unity through love
peace through goodwill - love in truth!
This tension reminds.

Some say yes...
Some say no...

Baneful Racism

A friend of mine from work once asked me about racism.

It was a question borne of the need to understand what motivates the anger and frustration we sometimes encounter in the call center industry.

It was also a question asked to obtain a perspective about his own tendency to throw pun at other people's differences (as an attempt at humor).

None of those, I replied, came close to racism.

Customers reacting to a situation they perceive to be unfair or detrimental to the good of their person (their family, friends or community) is not racism nor is throwing pun at other people's differences (unless it is done with malice in the heart).

RACISM IS DIVISION embraced so thoroughly it has become instinctive.

In all its various guises, racism is a creed of universal hatred of our common humanity accepted so willingly it has become visceral.

This is racism by commission.

It is EVERYTHING the universal value of human dignity and just equality stands forever against - in any time, in any place, and in any age.

Therefore, racism too is present and inherent in the acceptance of an inferiority that likewise denies an individual and/or individual segment of our common humanity the spirit, will, and means to stand with their siblings shoulder to shoulder as equals within the one brotherhood of the nations of the children of Mankind.

This is racism by omission.

Racism is not a color. It is a lie and one sold (by the Adversary of the truth) to deny the one spirit of our humanity the strength invested in our diversity.

Therefore, as nation-builders and peacemakers, we ought to be especially watchful against its pomp and allure.

Peoples from all nations are vulnerable to its delusion.

Strange Remembrance

Let me ask you now -
Did my Anne have to die?
No she did not, friend.

Let me ask you now -
Did my Anne have to die?
Not before her time.

War took her -
God did not.
---<--@

War took her from our midst. And the promise that she stood for was taken away from us.

It is a strange remembrance indeed to make up for her life by propagating the spirit of War in our times and at all times.

The spirit of revenge will attempt to remember my Anne by the same hatred that swept her little world away.

Strange remembrance indeed.

Lukewarm souls will attempt to comfort themselves with the thought that all things in War are meant to be, that they are set in stone, and that we are ever powerless, or in other words that my Anne was destined to die by the hand of the Adversary of God.

Strange remembrance indeed.

To honor my Anne is to remember what her hopes were - not her fears.

Now, if we were to confront those same fears with her hopes joined with ours, we remember my Anne as she was - as she is.

When we make this world of ours a better place little by little, our most beloved Starshine, we take back what promise was lost to each of us by the insufferable hand of War.

Because Peace is the responsibility of all.

If one were to become aware of the suffering of every innocent who was ever lost to our nations through War, one would lose the will to continue on hoping...

One

There is but one peace
and but one final outcome;
many worlds within...

Observe, O Mankind,
the unity of heaven:
The mandate of Truth!

As God is,
so must we.

Let's us fill our earth with living lights... of knowing love and virtues bright!

I saw in a vision, a crystal blue sphere, shining with a multitude of living lights. The vision came to me quite abruptly while I was awake in the day, riding a jeep home from work.

The vision stayed for a time before me as I wondered. I wondered at how wondrous and beautiful beyond imagination it was that I thought I was seeing through the eyes of angels.

Then a darkness came over the vision and it seemed to me for an instant that it was no longer there. But it was, O my nation, before me was a world so overrun by sin and war that it was no longer distinct from the nothingness of the void - an unknown earth bereft of light, forsook by heaven, and forgot by God.

Babel

From our First Parents,
all generations draw descent;
the one race of Man...

Alas, War divides
to conquer the truths within.
Differences don't curse:

In fact, they
make us strong.

The Good Samaritan

There was once a man
who was set upon by thieves,
and was left to die...

But this man woke up
in the care of the caring,
and so he survived.

Does color
matter here?

Peers

We are common peers
in God's common creation,
shoulder to shoulder.

Reciprocity,
complementarity and
mutual respect.

From many,
one whole one.
