Why 1,575 haikus? Because my darlingest Annelies Marie Frank lived 15.75 years in this world.

Our-Story

The unfulfilled dreams of Mankind and the freedom of God -
these are the primary causes for the expansion of space and time.

We are, therefore, we must.

I am one story
one thread spun among countless...
expanding time... space....

Each life is a thread
- as important as others -
woven by His will.

These stories,
this is us.

The House of Humanity

The house of humanity is the house of God.
And in this house there are many nations.
The nations of the children of Mankind!

All of us, without exception,
nurtured by the living waters of the firmament,
being born upon the earth under one God, the LORD,
dwelling in each our hearts under His heaven,
our one native sky.

Starshine,
if this house of humanity is divided,
shall it ever persevere?

- selah -

Peace maketh our house thy home.

The Other 100%

A thought for you
from a friend -

What of greater-ness,
our most fundamental - one -
that which makes us, we?

Yea, which many made one,
which though many makes us one,
calling us today...

Arise then, the we,
born of many distinctions,
called of one spirit.

Arise to the times,
this most fundamental thought,
and let us be great.

I, you, we -
one, one, one.
---<--@

In Fareed Zakaria GPS,
it was asked one early morning
which segment creates the jobs,
the 1% or the 99%.

Let me share with you
my own thoughts about it.

My answer is neither.

It is innovation that creates work.

It is a spirit present in the 100%!

The power to innovate comes from this spirit.

Because what drives this innovation?

Care for the Republic.

A love for the nation
grown up from the soil
of a living knowledge of it
and a steadfast understanding
of it's truest labors upon the earth.

This particular love
drives the participation of the people
in their own progress and welfare,
sheltered by their own freedoms,
and defended forever by a Republic
dwelling in peace and amity with itself
and therefore, with all the nations,
under the guidance of heaven,
and the light of Providence Divine.

Care for the Republic!

It is America that creates the jobs.

Individuals contribute to it,
individuals reap from it,
but it is ONLY the nation
that guarantees it.

Break this one community apart
and all certainty falls away into chance.

By the way, Fareed - you rock!

Make the words disappear
into meaning - and understand.

Think them at thy heart,
speak it out loud,
live it at large.

Heart of Africa

Division once stood
to shatter thy native rest -
hear me, Rwanda!

Thou must now stand firm
at the heart of Africa -
one soul; one whole one!

Ne'er again
Ne'er again.
---<--@

Deny the spirit of War
a footing in thyself, O Beautiful Rwanda - forever!

Unity (the one peace that prospers).
Work (the labor of nations - building up the earth).
Patriotism (an indivisible love of Country).

All nations are endowed by God with just one heart -
one spirit to inspire her peoples, embracing their souls,
calling their generations forth from timelessness into time,
establishing upon their midst one rule, one abiding will of peace -
one undertaking of Country, one ascent, one lineage of victory;
one unity that shelters against the darkness and against War
binding all her sons and daughters together unto one soul,
from generation to generation to the last of her generations
so that they belong together: one love, one labor, one destiny.

Stand for thy own native peace;
serve and prosper thy peoples;
defend the life of thy one nation -
steadfastly, always, and with virtue.

Mabuhay, Rwanda!

one Jerusalem

O Holy City!
Place at the heart of three faiths -
when will thou find peace?

O Jerusalem,
Jerusalem in my heart -
be thou always one.

Forever.
Forever!
---<--@

"If I forget you, O Jerusalem, may my right hand forget its skill. May my tongue cling to the roof of my mouth if I do not remember you, if I do not consider Jerusalem my highest joy."
(Psalm 137: 5-6)

Purple Heart

Unity is strength
born of the conviction - that -
these are worth keeping.

May we remember
the cost. The heart in thee that
ever must prevail.

From many,
one heart.
---<--@
May your heart, America, always be one.

I made a promise that day - never forget.

Dawn will come, this night will wane...
and it shall be 9/12/2001 all over again.

Eagles in the Night

Brave America,
has thy own vision fled thee,
elder Republic?

These skies above us
seem dark - only for a time -
till we find the morn.

For the shattering
must find its own conviction
from our unbelief.

Hence darkness has strength
inasmuch as we forget
we are like eagles...

We are like eagles
that must rise above this night
to believe again...

in God and
in ourselves.
---<--@
Freedom that is free is free indeed.
---<--@

I made a promise that day - never forget.

Dawn will come, this night will wane...
and it shall be 9/12/2001 all over again.

Party of One

I am currently reading "We the Purple" by Marcia Ford.

Inspired by her book, I wrote this -

Party of One

I belong to me.
And to me, the Republic.
I am no fraction.

I think for myself.
I choose according to me.
I am a headache.

I am in motion.
Citizens of the nation.
I am one million.

Hear my vote
I will roar.
---<--@

In the Comedy Central tradition of Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert and other serious Americans, let me follow this up with something funny-serious:

The color of politics in America -

Blue is for Democrat.
Red is for Republican.
Purple is for Independent.

The official party mascots -

Donkey is for Democrat.

Elephant is for Republican.

What is for Independent?

I've always known cats to be akin to vigilance and independence. I have to say, a cat just might be a fitting mascot for the purple heart of America...

But seriously, things have to get fixed. Because dammit, America, I know you're better than this.

I know you're better than this.

Tita Cor

The heart of Country
is our unity, our Peace -
t'is worth defending!

Our Republic has
a heart, tita, you restored -
may we remember!

Thy heart of
unity.

Maria Corazon Sumulong Cojuangco-Aquino (19330125-20090801 peaceably recalled by God, of natural causes) 11th President of the one Republic of the Philippines, a most honorable Filipino statesman, heart of the EDSA Revolution, Icon of Democracy, wife, mother, inspiration - via con Dios!

Today is the 2nd year anniversary of her passing...

She may not be perfect, this is true. But without her, as one can plainly observe in our world today, we would find ourselves in a very different place in time.

An Office is a lineage of persons.

May we truly let go of the sins of our nation's past, may Justice abide in our Republic that good may flourish and evil fade away, may the LORD, our God, forgive us and release our present generations from the pain of all our past hurts, may He grant us peace. AMEN.

Corazon is Spanish for "heart".

Uniting Shepherds

Bless us, O LORD,
with Thy unity and peace -
Thy Church in this world...

Gather us in Love,
embrace us in Thy arms - through -
Thy holy bishops.

O Spirit,
let us pray.
---<--@

Saint Peter the Apostle, pray for us.

Rebuild the Church around the Holy Father: Two strong lungs has the Church - east and west - and two strong arms has the holy bishopric of the Church - the holy priesthood and the permanent diaconate.

Human Nation

Faith is a freedom -
a reaching out to the LORD
reaching out to us.

Religion is choice,
discerned freely in the faith,
of common worship.

Its fruits
make us human.
---<--@

Do not make a burden of religion -
separation of Church (Religion) and State, yes.

But do not make a fool of yourselves either -
separation of God and human reality, no.

United, Standing Always

America the One!
United, Standing Always -
defend, defend, trust in God.

One nation, One peace,
One Republic forever -
strong, faithful, and true

From many,
one vision.
---<--@

My favorite line from the Star Spangled Banner -

"...and the rocket's red glare,
the bombs bursting in air
gave proof through the night
that our Flag was still there."

Christian Unity

O how our Lord longs
for you to come Home, my love,
back to Father's arms.

Consider thy heart,
what it says, amidst the noise,
"why art thou baptized?"

Kindred grace
forever!
---<--@
Unity is not sameness... It is saneness.
Unity is not singularity. Unity is an acceptance.
It is diversity.

One

There is but one peace
and but one final outcome;
many worlds within...

Observe, O Mankind,
the unity of heaven:
The mandate of Truth!

As God is,
so must we.
---<--@

Let's us fill our earth with living lights... of knowing love and virtues bright!

I saw in a vision, a crystal blue sphere, shining with a multitude of living lights. The vision came to me quite abruptly while I was awake in the day, riding a jeep home from work.

The vision stayed for a time before me as I wondered. I wondered at how wondrous and beautiful beyond imagination it was that I thought I was seeing through the eyes of angels.

Then a darkness came over the vision and it seemed to me for an instant that it was no longer there. But it was, O my nation, before me was a world so overrun by sin and war that it was no longer distinct from the nothingness of the void - an unknown earth bereft of light, forsook by heaven, and forgot by God.
---<--@

Stars

I saw them, the stars!
Numberless, shining with hope,
against the darkness...

Embraced by heaven,
understood by exiled earth,
avoided by hell.

Do you know
the difference?

One Republic Sky

Amidst our problems,
and among our suffering,
gather together...

And in thy own soul,
embrace each other's longing
expanding thy sky:

We belong,
forever.

We Are Who We Are

Profess thankfulness
in your everyday, my friend,
we are who we are...

A people of peace,
the generations of life,
those nations of hope.

Think. Believe.
Pray: own it.
---<--@
It is no small and insignificant thing that adds up to become a great thing and there is nothing of greater importance to the life of a nation than peace.

Every little thing counts!

Be present for peace.

Us

What of kin and kith,
of blood ties and friendship bonds,
in the Hereafter?

No words can describe
the company of heaven,
joy and fruition!

Never doubt
faith that binds.

The Lie

The Devil whispered -
Why burden thyself? Serve not.
Do not believe it.

To serve not, my friend,
is to undo the freedom
of our communion.

Together,
We prevail.
